Dear TINYg member

This week we held our 50th International conference. Since our first conference in 2006, we have hosted over 5000 delegates, heard from more than 275 expert speakers, viewed more than 4000 power point slides and have provided more than 30,000 drinks and 5,000 lunches.

We have circulated more than 25000 email alerts to over 10,000,000 recipients in over 130 countries. All of these things have been provided, completely free of charge and funded entirely by the generosity of our sponsors, the fabulous organisations that allow us to use their facilities free of charge and the wonderful speakers who travel from all over the world, to share their knowledge and experience with us. We’re really proud of that.

But not as proud as we are of having achieved our original aim of connecting people, businesses, law enforcement agencies and governments; not just in New York City, where it all started, not even New York City and London, but internationally. We have connected members on every continent and our footprint continues to grow.

We can’t claim to have saved lives, but we have definitely connected people, who have. We have informed, educated, campaigned, supported and impacted in the fight against terrorism and we go on doing so.

On behalf of David Evans, our Founding Chairman, Commissioner Ian Dyson, our Group Patron and my fellow volunteer leaders, I would like to thank all of our members, sponsors and supporters for their enthusiasm and ongoing commitment to what we do. Here’s to the next 50 conferences and a safer, better informed and networked world.

Andy Williams

Group Vice Chairman
