UK riots: The 38 British towns and cities facing marches tomorrow as target list leaked, Express says

Britons are bracing for further riots after a leaked target list showed dozens of communities are set to be targeted in a fresh wave of chaos on Wednesday.

A message being spread on the encrypted messaging platform Telegram, seen by Express.co.uk, reveals 38 towns and cities potentially facing ugly clashes on their streets, with users told to “mask up” for the demonstrations and “be there or be cowed”.

“They won’t stop coming until you tell them,” the text reads “no more Immigration”.

The plans come after far-right protestors took to the streets across the country this weekend, with anti-immigration rioters clashing with police as buildings and cars were set ablaze. Locations have included parts of LondonEssex, Merseyside and Yorkshire.

It followed widespread misinformation online about a horrific stabbing rampage in Southport, Merseyside, that left three young children dead, with false claims that the attack had been carried out by an asylum seeker.

Police forces from across the country said they were prepared for the gatherings shared in the Telegram message.

Thames Valley Police told Express.co.uk: “Should any planned protests or spontaneous incidents escalate into violent disorder seen elsewhere in the country, officers will swiftly and robustly respond and deal with [them].”

It added that it “monitors a variety of sources including social media and reports from the public to identify planned protest or disruption in our area” and “have well-rehearsed plans in place to deal with any issues that may arise.”

Cleveland Police in the North East said it would have an increased presence in the coming days and would be “providing reassurance to residents and speaking to members of the public about their concerns.”

“We are aware of information currently in circulation on social media and other platforms about further activity in the area and we’re monitoring the situation closely,” the force added.

Sussex Police urged the public to “remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity or concerns”.

The force also said it was reviewing information and working closely with local and national partners.
