The Co-Managing Director of 6E (Dr Michael McDonagh), in 2013, after 34 years combined service in HM Armed Forces and the Metropolitan Police Service, moved from a highly successful career at New Scotland Yard as the OCU Commander of the only dedicated Counter Terrorism Protective Security Command (SO20) in the UK, into a Group Head of Operational Security and Intelligence role in a multi-national financial institution.

Prior to his role in the Corporate Sector, Michael was the Senior National Protective Security Liaison Officer (SNPSLO) for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of his role, Michael authored, developed and delivered the London Olympic Counter Terrorism Protective Security Strategy, which involved extensive UK and global interagency collaboration, particularly with US Government, Federal Agencies and Police Forces worldwide.

Since January 2017, 6E Consultancy Limited have been retained to provide specialist security and risk advice to Formula 1 Motor Racing with special remit to advise the Board on all matters relating to global security, all forms of terrorism, protest and employee travel safety. 

Joining Michael as the Co-Managing Director of 6E, is Christine McDonagh MA, who until 2011 was the Deputy Director for Leadership and Development for the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS). Christine has a master’s degree in Individual and Organisational Learning and currently spends much of her time advising London Borough Councils and Corporate Bodies on HR matters particularly around the selection, recruitment and development of senior leaders and personnel within their organisations.
