David Evans welcomes you ......

Whether you've been a member since I formed TINYg in 2006, or are interested in finding out more about the group for the first time, welcome to the TINYg website.

Back in 2006, whilst discussing the emerging threat posed by radical Islamic terrorists, I realised that there was a real need to enable improved communications between law enforcement and business. With a background of thirty years service in the Metropolitan Police in London and commercial experience gained from running my own business, I was acutely aware that information sharing and a more collaborative approach would assist in the fight against terrorism in all of its forms. Most importantly, I was determined that this collaboration had to benefit not just large, multi-national corporations, but the man and woman in street, the shop worker, the school teacher, the nurse and the start-up entrepreneur who otherwise couldn't afford or wouldn't have access to such assistance.

With that in mind and with the assistance of a number of professional colleagues in New York City and London who offered to facilitate meetings and provide presentations, the first TINYg conference was held at the offices of Reuters in Times Square, Manhattan. From that day onwards, we have never looked back. We have held conferences and meetings globally, have members in over 150 countries and have issued more than half a million email alerts, all of which has been completely free of charge.

None of this would have been possible without the huge generosity of our supporters, sponsors and partners, who similarly recognise the role that TINYg has played and continues to play in supporting the fight against terrorism in all of its forms.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to visit us, I hope that you find the information that you need, but if you require any further information, don't hesitate to contact our team at enquiries@tinyg.info

Commissioner Ian Dyson

I am honoured and excited to be the Patron of TINYg at a time when London and the UK has seen, as with countries around the world, the potential disruptive and destabilising effect terrorism can have on a nation and its people.

The City of London Police has been at the forefront of Counter Terrorist activity throughout its existence and continues to invest in new and innovative methods to address the threat. We have a global brand and a global reach of which I am very proud.

TINYg aims to foster improved communications between businesses and between law enforcement around the world, and has held over fifty free to attend conferences in London and the United States and has issued over 500,000 email alerts to recipients in more than 150 countries – an incredible feat for a not for profit organisation, that demonstrates is philanthropic mission to improve knowledge, understanding and collaboration across the world.

Ian Dyson The Commissioner of The City of London Police.

The TINYg network provides members with essential, timely, relevant and accurate terrorism-related global situational awareness. This allows private and public security professionals to be better informed for their own necessary threat analyses, vulnerability identification, risk mitigation and business continuity measures – all at no cost to the members.

I'm writing this to give you and TINYg team an "atta boy". In times which the threat streams is constantly changing I have found TINYg a very value tool. It has proven to me and my organization a respected organization that provides us with timely intelligence. We have been members for many years and both contributed to conferences in New York and attended. I have  found the group to be of  value especially during "real world" events. It is comforting to know that the contacts that TINYg has are worldwide and available  at anytime for assistance and exchange of information. The dedication of the executive board have proven the worth of TINYg. Please keep TINYg at the forefront of information sharing. Keep up the great work you're doing.

CEO VP, SHom Ltd Lagos, Nigeria, Africa,

I have been a member of TINYg since its inception in 2007. As a security professional I receive information from a number of different sources, I have found the TINYg email alerts both timely and informative.
I have also attended a large number of the regular briefings at different venues in London, the standard of the specialist speakers from across the globe is excellent as are the networking opportunities. As time is precious and invitations to seminars are many I would highly recommend putting TINYg at the top of your list.
