ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) — Altoona police say an investigation is underway after three small explosive devices were reportedly found at a vacant apartment earlier this week.

Police say on Tuesday, authorities were called to the City Hall Commons, along 13th Avenue, for reports of suspicious devices.

Investigators say the state police bomb squad then found and removed three improvised explosive devices from the vacant residence.

Police note that there was no threat to the public or surrounding residents and the investigation is ongoing.
